Goals for the Month + Update!

Hey there everyone!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Be sure to spread the love not only with your significant other but, also with your friends, family & even yourself! Lately this semester has got me running around like a maniac lately! Normally I can be very composed and not super stressed out about projects and midterms, but OMG I have been so busy lately. On the bright side, we are almost to spring break! I have so many great things that are going to be happening here soon & I cannot wait for all of them to happen! I have set aside a few goals for this month that I am looking forward to making a reality & I wanted to share some new updates that are happening!

Self-Love 

This is something that I have been writing about a lot on my blog. I have been very good lately with practicing more self love for myself. Taking care of my body & mind has been my priority (along with school & my loving boyfriend)! Especially during these cold winter days, it is especially important to be mindful about listening to what your mind & body need. I have been going to the gym almost everyday which has been doing great things for my self-esteem and confidence in my body. I am still working on self-love overall but I think so far I am off to a great start and I hope to continue that love throughout this month & year.

More Coffee Dates

You all know my obsession with coffee, so this month I am hoping to make more time for coffee dates with my girlfriends and try new places downtown! I am always willing to try new places & catch up with people about everything going on in their life.

Keep Up Workout Routine 

So far I have been doing really well with keeping up wth going to the gym everyday and making sure that I am eating the right foods! I hope this month I can continue to keep that momentum going! Even if I am not able to go to the gym, I want to find new ways that I can still be active without going to the gym!

Relax 

With school being so stressful I have been working this month on trying to take more time to sit & relax. Like I said earlier, my mind and body are super important & if I don’t take time to let myself unwind & take a breather then I will end up being more stressed out and burn out my energy. I would love to find time to meditate or do some yoga before bed! It seems like the perfect way to unwind after a long day!

These are some of my goals for this month (I know they are a little late) but I look forward to continue some of my goals from last month this February! I am also looking forward to spring break because I AM GOING TO ARIZONA! I am going to be spending time with my mom & two aunts soaking up sun all week! I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time with them lately, so I look forwards to being able to catch up with them & get out of the cold Michigan air. There will most definitely be a post coming about the vacation so I encourage you all to keep an eye out for that!

 I just wanted to thank you all for encouraging me through this blogging journey & continuing to support me every step of the way. Writing these posts makes me so happy & I love that I get to share my life with all of you! I hope you all have a great rest of your week & have an amazing weekend!
