Carry on + Traveling Essentials

Hey there everyone!

Spring break has started & I am so ready to get out of the cool Michigan weather and move to warm 75 degree weather in Arizona! I am sharing some of my packing essentials for the student who is traveling for this spring break! So pack up your warm clothes, your sunscreen & sunglasses because here are my spring break traveling essentials!

Phone & Laptop

Of course I have to document the whole trip! Especially now that I have this blog, I tend to bring my laptop everywhere! Traveling and relaxing is the perfect opportunity for some relaxed writing and reflection. Of course I have to have my phone on me to keep in touch with everyone & use it to take pictures for when I don’t have my camera!

I love photography! It has been a great way for me to document all of my adventures & be able to share them with all of you! I never go anywhere without it!

A good book

During the semester, I don’t have a whole lot of time to read a book that I actually have interest in reading. So traveling gives me a great opportunity to be able to put down the textbooks & grab a book that I am excited to read! I especially love adventure/romance novels!

Especially for traveling on planes this can be super important! I always have my wallet or lanyard on me when traveling. You never know when you may need to buy a drink or show your license!

Lip Balm

I always hate when my lips are super chapped, so I always carry a lip balm on me wherever I go! I especially love my EOS lip balm!

There is nothing better than writing down my thoughts in a journal. Sure I could type them on my laptop, but I especially love to pack a small journal and talk about my day & feelings. It’s a great de-stresser!

If you are going somewhere sunny and beautiful, sunglasses are a MUST HAVE!

I love to just cancel out the noises of the plane with my Beats Solo headphones! I just got them this past Christmas and I cannot imagine using anything else while on the plane. 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend

Comfy jacket

I love to wear my Levi’s jean jacket whenever I travel. It’s light weight & easy to carry around. Even if you are going somewhere warm, it can be flipped and used as a jacket for chilly nights on the beach!

Mini emergency kit

You never know when disaster might strike and you need a quick fix! I try to keep a small emergency kit in my bag, especially while traveling or even going to class! It’s good to always be prepared!

What are some of your favorite traveling essentials? Comment below! I’d love to hear your thoughts!

If you are on spring break like me, I hope you have a fantastic break & enjoy whatever adventures you are experiencing! I can’t wait to share mine in Arizona with all of you! 1. I wish I had the luxury of a vacation. Heck my college gives us no holidays and have exams on summers. But one thing is for sure, Whenever I have time, I always read a good book. It’s a great stress reliever.
