What I am Thankful for + Holiday Plans

Hey there beautiful people,

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am so freaking excited for Thanksgiving this week! I am so excited for some homemade food & some well-deserved relaxation time. This past weekend was full of studying for last minute exams and nonstop working on assignments, so needless to say I am 100% ready for a break. Thanksgiving is right around the corner & it had me thinking of all the things that I am truly blessed to have in my life! This season is the time to reflect & focus on those people or things that mean the most to you, which is why I wanted to share some of the blessings that I could not be more thankful for this season!

Family

I know, I know this is the most basic item in my life to be thankful for, but I would not be where I am today without my family supporting me every step of the way. I hope none of you forget how truly amazing your families are & always keep them at the top of your thankful list!

Old & New Friends

Of course my friends are next on my list! I love my friends because I know they always have my back no matter what & support me in everything I do. Here’s to making more memories with my friends both old and new. I am so thankful for all of you!

Nick

He has been so patient with me these past (almost) three years, which has made me feel so loved. I am so thankful to have him in my life. His constant love & support that he gives me in every aspect of my life could not mean more to me. I am so proud of him & proud to call him mine. I can’t wait to celebrate more moments with him & I love him so very much!

Coffee Coffee Coffee

Always thankful for caffeine. Let’s be real it’s the only thing that has been fueling me this semester!

My mental & physical health

Lately I have been pretty sick & I finally started feeling better (thank god) so I am so thankful to be healthy! This semester has really been testing my mental health between classes & struggles with my own personal battles, but I am feeling so much better now which has been an amazing feeling. Mental & physical health is so important so everyday is really a gift when I am able to get up and go about my day!

My education

I have been so blessed to be in college these past (almost) four years & I am so excited to be graduating next spring! I have learned & grown so much over the past few years in my education & I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for me after I get my degree.

What are some things that you are thankful for? Share in my comments!

There is so much more that I could list that I am thankful for but then I would be writing a novel for you. I am so excited to be going home today to see my family & spend a few needed days with them! This is Nick’s first time coming with me to celebrate Thanksgiving in Detroit with me so I am all sorts of pumped. After Thanksgiving, we only have 2 more weeks of classes til finals for this semester & then… CHRISTMAS BREAK! Lots of holiday fun for this Christmas & then my last semester of college. Holy cow that is crazy to think about! There is so much to look forward to & so much fun that I cannot wait to share with you. Have an amazing holiday & I am so thankful for every single one of you who take the time to read my blogs. It truly means so much to me. I’ll talk to you all again soon!

Sending Positive Vibes,
