Hey there everyone,
I hope you all had a fun holiday and new years with your friends and family! I am sorry I haven’t been writing lately, I was taking a well-deserved break after this semester & spent a lot of time traveling, spending time with family/friends and relaxing. Holy cow we have finally made it to 2019 and I am hopeful that it is going to be a great year! 2018 was a pretty cool year, but boy am I happy that it’s over & it is time to start fresh. This year I am dedicated to making my resolutions more of a priority & actually stick to them better. In the past, I have always set these high expectations for my goals for the new year and I always end up not accomplishing them which then makes me feel bad. So, I have decided to break this bad habit and create some realistic resolutions that I am excited (and fully dedicated) to keep up with!
Find a workout routine that I enjoy & stick to it
One of the things that I struggled with most this past year was finding a workout routine that I actually enjoy. Finding a good routine makes all the difference when working out & I found that I feel more motivated when I do a class or enjoy the routine that I am doing. This is is something that I am truly passionate about finding because I am all for trying to better my lifestyle both physically & mentally. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
Adventure more
Now, even though I would love to travel and adventure all around the world, unfortunately that is not in the budget for me right now. However finding small adventures is something that I truly love to do. I love exploring & making memories with people, so I would love to continue finding those places to adventure!
Focus more on self love
My self love journey has had it’s moments & I am still working on trying to better the way that I see myself. I have found that it is important for me to put myself first & focus on loving myself more in order to live a more confident and happy life.
Start a new savings plan
As I move closer to graduation and I am getting ready to move into the real world I am realizing how important it is for me to save money. I do save money for the most part, but I want to come work on spending less and saving more for more important plans I have for the future. Again, I am looking for ideas for this, so if you have any suggestions on saving money, I am all ears!
Explore new recipes
This past year I wasn’t very adventurous with my cooking which I would like to change this upcoming year. I used HelloFresh earlier this year and oh my gosh, the food was amazing. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes! So this year I want to continue that same excitement and continue to cook new things. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Stop worrying about what people think
I felt as if this past year I was very focused on what other people thought of me, which made it hard for me to truly focus on being happy with myself. So this new year I would like to stop worrying about what other people think of me and focus on being happy with myself & the people surrounding me.
There are so many other smaller scale resolutions I have for this year, but these are the few big ones that I am going to focus my attention on for this upcoming year. I hope you all finish out your week strong & I am so ready to kick off this year on the right foot so it will set the stage for the rest of 2019. Cheers to a great year for all of you & I can’t wait to talk again really soon!
Sending Positive Vibes,
