Hello there beautiful friends!
I want to apologize for being MIA for a while now. The end of the semester had me swamped between working, interviewing and final preparations for class. I finally graduated college this past Saturday and boy what a whirlwind that was! It still hasn’t hit me quite yet that I am officially done with classes and will not be attending GVSU in the fall. I have been feeling so blessed with the amount of love and support that has flooded towards me lately so I thought I would do a short thank you to everyone who has been that love and support system for me the past 4 years at GVSU!
My family
Since leaving the east side of the state to come to Grand Rapids I have grown so close to my family! It’s crazy how much you miss something when they aren’t always around. My family has always been my biggest support system and biggest fans throughout my whole life. Thank you for always cheering me up and rooting for me on the days that I just don’t feel good enough. I have been so unbelievably blessed to have these people as family and I will forever love you all!
Mom and Dad
Where do I even begin with you two? You have given me more than I could have asked for my whole life and for that I am forever thankful for you two. You have been my biggest fans and best friends since day one! Sometimes I wonder how you put up with my craziness, but I know that you both love me no matter what I am going through. You have molded me into the person that I was meant to become and taught me how to conquer things I never thought I could. I love you both way past the moon and back and I am forever grateful that God gave me you!
My friends
We have had an interesting and fun journey together. Thank you all for completing my life! I couldn’t imagine what this experience would have been without all of you playing a part in it. Even my friends from home (who I cannot live without), even though you weren’t physically at school with me, you still hold a special place in my heart even before I became a Laker! All of you made my experience here at GVSU the most memorable four years EVER and I can’t wait to continue our journeys together no matter where we all end up. I love you all and thank you for always being there for me!
My incredible boyfriend
All of my college journey these past four years has been spent with you. Every accomplishment, bad grade, football game, and late-night study sessions have been spent with you by my side! I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t met you downstairs of our dorm freshman year. Thank you for everything you have done for me the past three and a half years (dating). Thank you for being my number one fan and being that push I needed to fight through all the difficult moments. We have shared so many memories these four years and I can’t wait to see what our future has in store for us! I love you handsome.
Once again I want to say thank you to all of you who have been reading my writing on this blog. Writing this blog has truly changed my life and I can’t thank you all enough sticking with me. I have so many incredible projects happening with my vlog release, Pretty, Young & Motivated and my internship over the summer. I will be moving back to Detroit for a summer internship with Leo Burnett working as their Project Management intern for the Buick team. I can’t wait to share all these new exciting steps with you all, so stay tuned!
Sending Positive Vibes,
Congrats! So nice seeing more people our age blogging haha. I graduate from WMU this December and my best friends actually went to GVSU. Good luck with adulting (I’m excited but nervous)!
